अपने मासूम बच्चों की चौखट पर जलती लाश देखी,

आँखों में लिए न्याय की तलाश देखी......

न्याय न मिला अश्क़ो को भी,
सियासत मिली अपनों से,
छीन लिया इस राजनीति ने लालों को,
माँ की ममता के सपनों से....

माँ का दामन छोड़ने वाले नेता कहाँ रह गए
न मालूम आँचल में खेलने वाले,
आँचल से कब खेल गये....

तलाश रही है माँ अपने बेटों को,
इस शहर के हर कोने में,
सुकून नहीं है लहरों के एहसासों को
अब बंदिशों में रोने में......
