'हम' में अब हम नहीं बस मैं रह गया,
हर कोई बिन कहे अलविदा कह गया,
ये मतलब की महफ़िल थी,
सबकी एक बा एक पूरी क्या हुई,
देखने लायक नज़ारा था कि दूरी क्या हुई।

'आज' में अब हमराही कहने को सिर्फ साये का धोखा है,
अंधेरे में वो भी हट ले, ये बिछड़ने का उसका भी मौका है।
