ज़ैनाब के लिए लङी थी,
अब आसिफा के लिए लङ जाएगी
कुछ इंसाफ नहीं मिलेगा यहाँ

नई खबर आ जाती है बलात्कारों की

एक लड़की थी!
हाथों में गुड़िया,
बचपन की पुड़िया,
नन्हे से हाथ,
और तुतला-तुतलाकर करना सीख रही थी बात।
हो गया ना बलात्कार उसका!
किसने कहा था पहनाने को फ्राॅक घुटने तक का?!
माँ ही उसकी लापरवाह होगी,
क्या पता काम के बहाने कहाँ-कहाँ घूमती होगी!!
अरे!...घर की इज्ज़त एक दिन लुटनी ही थी!
पैदा होने से पहले ही,
इस मनहूस की हत्या कर देनी थी!
छोड़ो अब क्या ही करोगी उन्हें फाँसी दिला कर?
वापस तो आएगी नहीं, तुम्हारी मरी हुई बेटी इंसाफ पाकर!

उस मां की क्या थी गलती,
जिसने बेटी अपनी खोई थी।

उसके दुख में हर एक मां
हर पल तड़प के रोई थी।

क्यूं दर्द नहीं दिखता सबको,
उस मां की आंखें कहती हैं।

लाल हुई उस मां की आंखें,
वो पल पल रोती रहती हैं।

बच्चे के जाने से बड़ा शोक,
जीवन में कुछ नहीं होता है।

पैदा करने से ज्यादा दर्द,
उस अंत समय में होता है।

क्यूं थोड़े से भौतिक सुख के लिए,
किसी मानुष की जान लेते हो।

अपने लिए अपनी कब्र तुम,
जाहिल खुद ही खोदते हो।

अंत समय जब आएगा,
अपने ही साथ ना पाओगे।

सोच के उस दर्द को तुम,
खुद से ही सिहर जाओगे।
