Even as people are buried along with it.


In my country,
Mothers are blind;
They don't see their children's unhappiness,
Children are too young to be depressed,
They are constantly swimming in an ocean of happiness.
Until we see them floating lifeless in the ocean.

In my country,
Everyone has a mask,
Hiding under a facade,
Texting everyone that they are fine,
Until we bring flowers to gather for their funeral.
