लोकतंत्र और अधिनायकता (monarchy) के बीच का अंतर,
लोकतंत्र में बदलाव लाने का मंत्र, हां मतदान (vote),
पर एक असमंजस है,
इस जनतंत्र की भीड़ पर, किसपर करें यकीन,
है वोट देना हर व्यक्ति का अधिकार, मैं करती हूं इसे स्वीकार,
पर असमंजस है,
किसकी बनेगी सरकार, वोट करना है एक संयोग, या है जनतंत्र का सहयोग,
एक असमंजस है,
वादों की बौछार में, जनता की भीड़ भाड़ में, नेताओं के तकरार में, राष्ट्रप्रेमी के चुनाव में,
एक असमंजस है,
पोलिक बूध कोई भी हो,चुनाव का माध्यम कुछ भी हो,
पर एक असमंजस है,

देश का नेतृत्व कैसा हो ?....देश का नेतृत्व ऐसा हो,
राष्ट्र धर्म सर्वोपरि हो, जनता के रग रग में हो, चरित्र बेदाग हो, दिलों का सरताज हो, कर्मठता का काज हो, वसुधैव कुटम्बकम का भाव हो, देशप्रेम का साज हो,
वादों पर नहीं करेंगे अब यकीन,कर्मों पर होगा अब यकीन,
अब ना कोई असमंजस है, ना कोई दुविधा,
मेरा पहला वोट होगा,राष्ट्रप्रेम को समर्पित,देशप्रेम को समर्पित,
