"राजा अन्नामलाई चेट्ठियार", जिनके नाम पर चेन्नई का उपनगर "राजा अन्नामलाईपुरम" बसाया गया,
जिनका रहा भारत के काफी पुराने और बड़े बैंक "इंपीरियल बैंक ऑफ इंडिया" पर गवर्नर के रूप में साया,
अपने भाई के साथ मिलकर जिन्होंने खोला आजादी से भी बहुत पहले "इंडियन बैंक" जिसकी विदेशों में भी धाक रही,
इन्हीं ने स्थापित की चिदंबरम की अन्नामलाई यूनिवर्सिटी जो समाज में शिक्षा का एक विशिष्ट भाग रही,
इन्हें अंग्रेजों द्वारा "knighthood" और "राजा ऑफ चेट्टिनाड" का खिताब दिया गया,
हैं ये हमारे वित्त मंत्री पी चिदंबरम के नाना और मद्रास प्रेसीडेंसी से भारत के उच्च सदन के मेंबर के रूप में , भावी भारत के चित्रण में इनका अद्वितीय योगदान लिया गया...
