"Why we humans have this tendency to value things and people only when we don't have them or we lost them? Why not value them when we have them?"
"The illusion of having a lot of time to fix things, perhaps. People leave everyone behind to chase just themselves, not realizing that everything is nothing when you have nobody to share it with.
The next thing is self-victimization. People love being the exploited ones in their story, I don't really know what makes them think it's the only way to have an inspiring tale. People seem to need something bad to value the good. So, they are always busy collecting sad stories for themselves, the mistakes they make in the process long forgotten. People use their time blaming the other so much, that they forget how they used to be when things were clean.
It's only when they lose someone that they look back and realize how easy was the mending, how worthy was the relationship."
