"That kirrrr sound that the chalk would produce when I would write on the black-board, I really miss that sound you know, Mrs. Mehta. Now-a-days everything is so commercialized. Expensive accessories, audio-visual learning, so many books for just 1 subject. In our times, everything was so simple. There is so much foofaraw about education now. When my daughter was in school, my husband and I would pay only Rs. 700/- towards her monthly fee. Look at the yearly fees her generation has to pay now towards their child's education. When I say home-work now, my grand-daughter frowns and corrects me to call it assignments."
