When stars met lanterns,
The stars said,
"What's the wish,
I'm ready to fall."

ছায়া (প্রথম খণ্ড)
আমি আলোর সহিত খেলা করি,
লুকোচুরির এই খেলাতে কভু নাহি ডরি।
স্বভাবখানি ঠিক যেন এক স্নিগ্ধ মেঘের মায়া!
আলোর মাঝে বেষ্টিত হয়ে নাম নিয়েছি ছায়া।
আলোর ক্রিয়া বুঝবে নাকো সেতো ভিনদেশী!
ওর অভাবে আমি আবার পরিচিত নয় বেশী।
পরস্পরের কাছেই থাকি,আরেকটি নাম কায়া'
আলোর মাঝে বেষ্টিত হয়ে নাম নিয়েছি ছায়া।
আলোর আবার নেই স্থিরতা,পরের হিতাকাঙ্খি!
সে ব্যতীত আমিও অন্ধ,বৃথা আকাঙ্খি।
দেখা আমার মিলবে তবেই হলে আলোর দয়া!
আলোর মাঝে বেষ্টিত হয়ে নাম নিয়েছি ছায়া॥

It was me and the stars with him.
He told me nothing.
It was the silence that spoke about
the beauty of fondness that night.
It was him who called me to
get lost in the moonless night sky.
It was him who lightened the lantern
with a wish of being one in my sky
and asked me to let that go.
It was the flame that whispered,
its our fondness which illumine
our world like lanterns.

It's hard to leave beautiful things.
But letting go the lanterns feel so good.

Lanterns are a part of wish we send to the sky.

She, was a wandering wind,
I, a dancing lantern,
I turned into smoke
to meet her darkness.
