LONGING
Shrinking in a corner,
scooched up in a spot,
the walls keep closing in,
how much time I've got?
Why wouldn't the doors open,
Am I really free?
The cage my mind has made,
is it the final decree!
This dreaded clutch of anxiety,
Am I the lost one?
longing to belong to-
somewhere or someone.-
I love Lang leav.
I love Michael Faudet.
They both are great writers and also partners.
I hate that there is not even a single picture of Michael Faudet other than illustrations. He says he exist but in order to have a private life he never puts even a single picture on the internet.
I get all this but Oh my God! Can you put just one atleast?
I mean come on!

He is her poetry,
his love is slowly creeping to her vein.
He is her home,
made of stone.
The strongest
and the safest place
that she really wants to call it her own.
He is everything
she could ever want.
He is her life.
But she is not his wife.

One of the best poetry that I have been reading is by the poet Lang leav but the moment I got to know things about her which I didn't knew before left me stumped! And I wondered why didn't I found about her earlier?
Nonetheless here are the two things which were shocking because of my lack of knowledge.
I thought its 'him' and some famous poet probably a dead one, but to my utter surprise its 'her' and she is very much alive!
Even more interesting is her background and also the fact that her partner is an another writer I liked and couldn't have imagined the connection!
Yeah, like I said completely stumped but the interview was an lovely watch,I must say.
Read the caption!-
Closure
Like time suspended
A wound unmended -
You and I
We had no endings,
No said goodbye.
For all my life,
I'll wonder why.-
I put your "Sad Girls" next to my bed,
to accompany me during the night.
I'm no longer belong to one of those "Girls",
cause I know how to spend a long night.
Got no more heartache,
got no more headache,
cause I know I've got a friend of my own.
Your "Sad Girls" gives me no sadness anymore.

Can't Sabrina Benam this way out
With a tale of crippling depression
Immigrant it up
Like Rupi Kaur on her rich culture
Make magic
Like Amanda Lovelace but
I certainly can't cry
Like you Lang Leav-
In many ways, a book is, in itself, a tiny universe. Each page is like a newly formed galaxy, fashioned from a single, pulsing thought. A book travels for days, for years, sometimes for centuries to meet you at an exact point in time.

How do you feel
When thousands of girls quote your books
In sad, sorrowful voices
To others on video
Does it move you-
