मैं बोतल को मुह न लगाता ये मेहर चुकाता कहाँ

मैं ठहरा एक मामूली सा जुगनु
खुद को ना जलाता तो आज़माता कहाँ

इतना करीब आ कर बिछड़ा है वो मुझसे
यहाँ बेवफाई न जताता तो निभाता कहाँ

खुद को मनाने की कोशिश मे हू कब से
अब ना बहलाता तो जिस्म दफनाता कहाँ

कश्ती मेरी न जाने कहां थम सी गई...
लहरों से जंग में हर दफा शिकस्त ही मिली!!
जद्दोजहद बहुत की आगे बढ़ने की...
लेकिन हर दफा सिर्फ मात ही मिली!!
