वो बड़े है,
पके घड़े है।
नए कमरों में पुरानी चीजे कौन रखता है,
नए जमाने में पुराने ख्याल कौन रखता है।
एक बार बोलकर तो देखो,
अपनी बाहें खोलकर तो देखो,
थोड़ी उनकी सुनकर तो देखो,
यूंही नहीं है चहरे पर उनके झुर्रियां
झुर्रियां, सही है उन्होंने बहुत मजबूरियां
मजबूरियां, क्यू रखते हों इतनी दूरियां
दूरियां, सहलो उनकी थोड़ी गालियां
वो बड़े है,
पके घड़े है।

The waves of time,
keep moving ahead and return to us.
Some things do visit us,
but in a 'new form' .
Human nature also sometimes changes with time .
The basic 'emotions' in a person always remain the same even as the 'waves of time' pass by.
As the younger people and children the elderly also need affection and care of their loved ones.

The hands we held,
were strong enough
to lead us into journey.
We weren't grateful
and took it just as
another fact!

We have moved away
too far until we realized
that the hands grew weak
and when we look back
to complain, it was too late
and we lost our journey!

क्या अपणापन सिर्फ स्वार्थ के लिए था,
क्यो जिम्मेदारी का कोई महत्व नही हैं...

Decided did I
to have people to dine.
A beetroot curry,
will be over in a jiffy.
Tiny onions sambar,
will cucumber raita mar?
No ,will carry on with my plans,
A box of vadas, will do if I can.
Ah! a sweet , a badam kheer be best ,
to go deliciously with the rest.
The elderly beetroot I grated , cooked
with long cut onions.Sure they will get hooked.
Oh God finally bless the food with Your laws,
goes into oblivion any obvious flaws ;))

Sometimes the elderly can say some
of the funniest things but most times
they can say the most fruitful wises things..
