Ever felt like that you're drowning?
You're drowning deep, and floating to where you don't know. You don't have any direction but the current is too strong to take you along with it, you're submerged deep in the abyss, you want to get out of it but you can't and you know that you're not a mermaid but you're still breathing and wondering how can you still be alive and not dead. But you can't even question your luck because you're afraid of losing it, losing hope and losing life.
And that's what life is sometimes, Just a mess of current taking you along with waves.

A deal with the devil

More often than not,
though we try with all our might,
we end up yielding to the pessimistic voice
within our own selves
which relentlessly tries to pull us down
and bend us to its will.

So I decided to make a pact
to save myself from helplessly drowning
in my own hopeless thoughts
I made a deal with the devil
before it could make me its slave
and rob me of my last shred of dignity.

I said I would listen to everything
it has to say, when ever it wants to say,
I would let it rob me of my sleep
and haunt me in my dreams,
as long as it doesn't try
and drown the one other voice
that still hasn't given up on me,
So long as it doesn't try
and smother the one other voice
that whispers in my ear
every once in a while,
and keeps me from going over the edge.

Sitting down as i try to overcome the pain of an unexpected heartbreak, i find myself trying hard to stay afloat but the more i try to stay afloat, the more i find myself drowning into the depths of the ocean.

There's always a dark...
Darker than the

I've seen the dark night, turning into morning's bright light.

But that light is unable to remove
The darkness inside.

I am tired of running from thoughts,
People, places, things of different shapes,
and monuments of different scents
I just wanna take a pause now and come
back to my own arms and no one,
It's a dead end afterall but I'll meet me
who is long gone, long lost, and so much dead
