As you start registering
that things happen
in its own course and
you can do absolutely
nothing about it,
You might end up
succumbing to the negativity,
while firing yourself with
the most vital question of need,
was it all worth
the urge of fighting for?
You start hating it but
things just gonna work same.
But the troubles grows
right when u start hearing
all different voices while you
struggle to find yours among those!
Well growing old,
was never an option but
growing up isn't necessary though!

Craving for love,
but failing to grasp the reality of
who to expect it from,
running unnecessarily to wrong people,
seems perfectly necessary
finding the right one!
But the question is,
Do we settle then?
Just with one person, for life?
Sometimes, we all run for our answers,
while being unaware of
what the answer is for,
Or maybe, if
we need to find the answer at all!!

I believed I was different,
but failed in my eyes,
as I let you crush my pride.
It's funny, how views change,
for you it was the color,
enough for labelling me shrewd,
kept boasting all your demands.
I hid my tears best,
knowing this ignorance
won't help me to last long,
only if I could control my emotions
as tears dont seem to stop,
feelings keeps tearing me apart.
I can't forget your abhorrence, felt
like a splotch on my spirit, as
if my body is dipped in some tar!

walking through the memory lane,
as I write my letters down
for you in my heart,
trying to piece together the
reasons for my longing.
It was that look in your eyes

seemed funny then, but it kept
playing in my memories forever.
