It was her birthday. She asked him to return home early. He gave her her favourite red rose and left for work.

While leaving, she insisted him to wear the seat belt as she always does.

He ignored it as usual.

That evening, he was brought home, much earlier, wrapped in a white cloth with his blood all over.

Red was no more her favourite colour from that day.

Part of a burst tyre,

A broken helmet,

That bend railing of the narrow bridge,

The dog lying after it's ill famous death,

An overturned trailer near the tree,

Those "Caution" signboards,

The fading blood stains,

Every mile has a story to tell,

Of the withered,broken,chopped,crushed,

Because the color of the tar is black,

Which resembles gloom,

not coincidentally!
