Sometimes HUMAN more GREEDY & ARROGANCE leads to his/her ANNIHILATION or be the cause of their DOWNFALL...

When all the relevant ideals, of my youth,
Have escaped my cushioned grasp?
Wherefore shall I turn,
When all the cherished places, of auld,
Have been trampled and defiled?
Wherefore shall I speak,
When all the brilliant magniloquence
Have trickled, gradually, from my psyche?
Wherefore shall I remain,
When all the swains and friends, of yore,
Have vaporized into frivolous dust?
Deduce from all the instances
Of harrowing experiences,
I've been traumatized with,
And ascertain the edifice of all these.
For, I've been reduced into
A stuttering cretin, who fails to fathom
The living epitome of what this is!
Cease me from the vacuous ruination
That persistently inveigles to keep me meek.
Pounce on this dunce
And bid her to believe, for once!

I didn't believe in myself
Didn't know if I would be able to
Come out of the vortex
Knowing very well
I am not a swimmer

But every time I reached up for air
I found you
Right where you said you would be
Before I started spinning
And for a moment
And sometimes for an entire night
I let the air in
Not just to keep myself afloat
But to breathe out the disbelief
Of your patience and my luck

All your false talks,
All your false hopes,
All your false smiles,
It's time to say
Enough is enough,
my beloved disbelief ...
