I waxed up in love
And some days,
I was a waning one..

the stars to fall,

So that i could solicit
for the nights on which
i would hold you under the crescent moon.

she has been a
crescent for too long now,
her curves now ache of memories.
she visited nights that
were too long, in a row,
smoking pain out of her destinies.
she knows to gulp her
fading shine when the stars
get too bright, for her
to share or give a dime.
she hid behind trees
when the wind went soft,
and blushed in the dark,
when your lullabies went aloft.
she lives and breathes even
when a half,

that makes you wonder,
if her missing pieces
loved you hard, or
if love was the missing piece
that she's looking for.

At the dust to down in the fair..
Admiring the crescent with endearment..
Hugging the feelings with fulfillment.. ❤️

Dust particles we are,
Binded with a curse and a boon
A glowing, eye catching
Full moon you're
A Dark, ugly, invisible
New moon I am
Casting a spell you attracts me
And I start waning to wax you
With the blooming of our desire
I turn into a crescent
You in my love, becomes gibbous
Let's change our quarters you said
Smiling lips, a waxing crescent you're
Wet eyes, a waning gibbous I am
From the day one hoping for a kiss
Wriggling to meet it's day Fourteenth
But now, You turned as New moon,
Full moon I'm singing your tune
Centuries ago we separated,
Will wait another, till
There be no 'Wax and Wane'.

Indeed your beauty is
a mesmerizing one.
With that rosy soft
cheekbones of yours
when that curve on your
face makes a Crescent,
is something that no
words can describe.

Slowly silently gliding crescent
Spreading a halo during descent
Like a maiden waiting for her amor
With quivering lips demure

Last night witnessed the Crescent of Sha'ban in many parts of the world.
With great contentment and pleasure I would like to remind all my Brothers and Sisters of the Ummah that the next crescent we shall witness shall be the Crescent of Ramadan
