ज़िन्दगी का अर्थ समझे
हम सदा चलते रहे
जहाँ भी अंधियारा हो
हम दीप-सा जलते रहे
कर्म ही हो धर्म कर ले
कर्म की आराधना
बात कहते बहुत है हम
कार्य करते है बहुत कम.
कामना करते ख़ुशी की
नयन क्यों न होते नम.
योजना के बांध को
नहीं सीखे हम बांधना.
प्रगति हो अपनी सजग
तुम में प्रभा जाये बिखर.
मार्गदर्शन ज्ञानमय है
सुलभ जाए हम निखर.
नई बेला में हमें
रूढ़ियों को है फांदना.

Maths का भूगोल

कल maths का एग्जाम है
मेरा तो दिमाग खराब है.
जाने क्या होगा कल
मची है मेरे अंदर हलचल.
                    ख़्वाबों में भी मैथ्स ही आया
                    डराकर मेरी नींद भगाया
                   आखिरकार qn पेपर आया मेरे हाथ,
                    पर भाग्य ने न दिया मेरा साथ.
सभी zebra को अंग्रेजी में
कहते है al-gebra
आरी-तिरछी रेखाएं खींचना
कहलाता है construction
                       यूँ ही मैंने प्रश्नों के पापड़ को बेल दिया
                       टीचर की ओर अपना रुख मोड़ दिया.
                       मेरे maths का भूगोल हुआ
                       मेरा सारा नंबर गोल हुआ.

Sone pr rok na the
Na uthne ka thikana tha,

Khelne pr rok na the
Na padne ka thikana tha,

Rone ki wajah na the
Na husne ka bahana tha,

Kyu bade ho gye hum
Humko to wahi bachpan pyara tha.

जब रास्ते एकदम साफ़ थे,
बस एक के बाद एक पड़ाव थे
चलते जाना था उस सफ़र में
न आपसी मनमुटाव थे।
थे चुनौतियों के शौकीन हम,
पर मुसीबतों से थे फांसले
जब सवेरे अश्कों के बने थे,
वो दिन भी क्या दिन थे।
