I found myself alike Harry. How he emerged from a timid little boy being mistreated by Dursley's to a boy whom things could fear but never deter.

बिना , इक अल्फ़ाज़ कहें ।
कायनात न समाएं , इतना केह जाएं ।
इश्क़ हमें , इस अंदाज-ए-बयां से ।
किसी की समझ को , बांधती नहीं ये ।
बल्कि , सोच को पंख नवाजति हैं ।

क्या इस जैसी को ही , सचा साथी कहते हैं ?

If books were people
they'd open with the slightest ruffle
a dried rose
a pale leaf
would fall off their cascading eyes
and all those catabombs at bay
would glide off their eyelids
onto the glaze of the night sky;

They'd rhyme verses with dreams
bleed their sonnets into truths,
they'd live on fantasies
and gaze at stars,
flaunt their smudge and stains
off their desert skin scars,
for the blemished bookmarks
is how they'd hold
the golden keys
fitting decrepit relations
and broken hearts.

I'm obsessed with reading,

It allows me to celebrate
happiness of others
when I no longer find mine.

And that's the beauty of books.
They fill your empty s(h)elf up,
While leaving space for one more.
