See my hidden blind eyes

Caterpillars in
cocoons have
more wider and
mesmerizing picture
of this world than
that of butterflies.

The painting was dumb and colourless.
It's edges torn and colours faded.
Yet the small figure clutching the doll
had managed to hold my interest!
Flashes of cameras the artist had painted
over her, yet no helping hand he had drawn!
I guess years before the artist painted this,
in the hopes that tomorrow a hand
would be drawn over lightening flashes.
Yet the world is still the same
he had been afraid to live in!
