ये कहाँ ठहरती सुख की बूदें
दुख से तपते हृदय सतह पर
गिरते ही ये परवर्तित होती हैं
घोर निराशा को आंखों में भरकर
ये सुख की शीतल छांव घनेरी
बस मन को विस्मृत कर जाती है
देकर मृगतृष्णा से सपन सलोने
केवल अमिट याद बस दे जाती हैं
जब - जब गिरती ये सुख की बूदें
इस मन के चंचल खालीपन में
फिर उद्गार पनपते झूठे ही सुख के
नव अवसाद जन्म लेते हैं तन में
क्षणभंगुर सुख की अभिलाषा में
हम बस बढ़ते जाते हैं आंखें मूँदे
ये कहाँ ठहरती सुख की बूँदें
