Never believed in superpowers until I saw her multitasking.
Never believed in magic until I saw her reading my mind.
Never believed in heaven until I fell asleep in her lap.
Never believed in God until I saw my mom.

Person: You're a mother! And still write romance? How do you still have those feels?

Me: Yeah actually I'm glad I didn't dump my feelings along with the amniotic sac and umbilical cord.

being dad
and vice versa.
As simple as that.

Such is the depth of love and belongingness,
I feel for the people around me, I sometimes make their dreams my own, and go places to get'em fulfilled.

I wondered if someone will ever come up,
To make my dreams their own.

And then, you were born!

I sat next to my Mother and out of curiosity asked her to recollect her memorable moments and describe an enthralling journey she can never forget in this life. The journey which was scary,memorable,full of struggles yet the most beautiful she ever enjoyed.

Within miniscule seconds my Mother replied - It was the journey of nine long months, when I was carrying you in my womb. When I could not eat properly, had to sleep on the left side so that you can breathe peacefully, I used to had back aches. Well! The journey was scary because back in those days having a girl child was no less than a curse. But I survived that phase, I fought with everyone to see you winning the battle of life. Things were worst then, but now I'm a proud single mother. The journey to see you blooming out of me was, is and will always remain beautiful.

With teary eyes I went and hugged her tightly whispering in her ears that she is not just a single mother but she is the perfect family only a few people in this world are blessed with.

With such ease you forgive
You see no flaw the world sees
Such is your heart,
Vast as the oceans and seas

In the nine months for sure
We created a bond inexplicable
A bond so precious
Forever unbreakable

A great woman once told me,
"Never stop believing in yourself & what you can do."

Now, every single day, I'm pregnant with possibilities.
