वो पांच दिन जिसमें एक औरत की, जिंदगी दुभर हो जाती है
तुम्हें उस वक्त मंदिर-मस्जिद की, पवित्रता याद आती है।
पैर भारी, पेट के दर्द से वो बेहाल हुई जा रही है
फिर भी चहरे पर मुस्कान लिए, वो रोज अपने काम पर जा रही है।
हर तकलीफ कि गोलियां, दवाई कहलाती है
खुलेआम वो मांग ले जो पैड, तो लोगों की नजरें झुक जाती है।
आज भी पैड कागज़ में लपेट, काली पन्नी में दिए जाते है
देख ना ले कोई, वरना लोग ‌क्या कहेंगे,
ओह! इसे पीरियड्स होते हैं।
ना ही औरत अपवित्र, ना ही ये कोई गन्दगी है
ये है सुरक्षित भविष्य की प्राकृतिक प्रक्रिया, जिसका कोई हल‌ नहीं है।
