The leaves have started falling again,
Bringing winter vibes.
Little breeze with drops of rain,
Will change the way of lives.
Winter knocks the global door,
The year has turned a page.
The fallen leaves on the floor,
Opens the golden cage.
The timid rays of the arduous sun,
Will kiss each living face.
A warmth so needed in a winter morn,
Pleases the mortal race.
Basking in the solar glare,
Amid the northern wind.
Brings down waves of tranquil care,
And relishes every mind.
The tinge of scarlet rays do paint,
The canvas of the world.
Let the warmth, like a saint,
Sprinkle bliss unfurled.

I see you, everytime I look in the mirror,
When I wear the shirt I picked for you.
I hear you, when I listen to the songs,
You suggested, said it reminds you of me.

Your voice haunts me, everywhere I go,
Reminding me the love I gave was treacherous.
The apricity i used to feel now behaves like needles,
Painful as dying but still unseen.

I walk in the crowd, terrified like a broken soul,
Concealing my face with a poker smile.
Looking perfectly happy but shattered Inside.

Your small voice notes, are like music to me now
I listen to them on loop with smile
Realising it’s all futile, and you’re away several miles.

I speak in soliloquy about the moments we imagined.
Which remained like an unquenched thirst, and will remain evermore.

The hugs we imagined while lying on sofa,
The hoodie I wanted to steal from you.
The perfume which reminded you of me.
Aches my heart like thousand daggers.

The pain is unbearable I want to cry but my eyes are more loyal to you than me.
My heart wants to curse you but it loves you more than me.
