गर्क होंगे इसमें
और कब तलक...
बस यही देखना है।

all by yourself,
They'll call you weak if you ask for help.
They'll call you feckless, if you don't try,
They'll call you incompetent if you fail
and want to try again.
They'll call you domineering if you assert,
They'll call you foolish if you obey.
They'll call you rough if you brush away their ridicule,
They'll call you volatile if you snub
their insensitive remarks.
They just want you to exist... with a supporting shoulder,
a listening ear, a loving heart and an open mind...
but doing nothing of your own!
Coz whatever you do is a potential threat
to the MAN's WORLD !

in projecting yourself as better than me...
I just SMILE !

you are only supposed to nurture it,
with utmost love and responsibility...
like a caretaker.
Do not delude yourself into thinking
that you own it.

others down.
Hollowness of character makes you
do both !

The former is uplifting;
The latter is demoralising.

In this era of justifications... those lame
justifications of Ravana's act of abducting
Sita, of Dushasana's act of derobing Draupadi, of terrorists' act of slaughtering
helpless people, of the ruffians' act of blowing up the codes of conduct...
I refuse to be impressed upon by
others' fashionable opinions,
Coz I strongly believe in
my sanskaras... that
goodness is not a cliche'.

In their pursuit to attract attention,
and gain audience, some women act
as propagators of others' campaign
to vilify and ridicule their own tribe.
They are shortsighted, and fail to
foresee the sorry results of their
participation... making a joke of
their demand for equal respect.
