उम्र ये शोख़ियों की कर तग़ाफ़ुल होशियारी की

नहीं इंकार तारीकी से अपना इश्क़ लेकिन हाँ,
दिये जो जल रहे उम्मीद के तो लौ बुझानी क्यूँ

हमीं सागर हमीं कश्ती हमें ही पार जाना है
किसी भी ग़ैर के हाथों में दे दें बादबानी क्यूँ

अभी तो और आयेंगे बहुत किरदार जाने को
कि हम भी मुख़्तलिफ़ किस्सों को ही समझें कहानी क्यूँ

Tears were rolling down.

I was a happy baby.
Laughing, hopping and
kidding around.

which has a calming effect
all over my brain.
