उल्फत का हाथ थामा है,
तो इंतेक़ाम-ए-इक़बाल
नूर-ए-रुकसार
तौबा चांदनी में मिलेगा
दरख़्वास्त है ये अल्लाह से
शौक जब-जब तेरे शाने बहेगा
उसकी रहमत से
ख़ुशगवार सितारा रहेगा।

I asked my Dad "why go through so much pain just to remain rooted?"
