Overthinking Maze

एक दफ़ा वो राज़ रूठा,
तो रूह की सिसकियाँ
गहरी हो उठीं।
अम्बर पर थमकर,
और सतह पर तरंगें छोड़ उठीं।

द्वंद्व था हमें,
शख्स कहे तो थे -
"प्यार होता कई बार है",
"प्यार होता कई बार है"।
हमने मोहब्बत से बदल कर,
कल्पनाओं में...
हूँह? ऐं? जी हाँ? जी ना?
की बेलों में उलझते चले गए।

अब उलझ कर इसका लुत्फ़ उठाते हैं,
प्यार से मोहब्बत की
चाशनी पिघला कर,
बिन साँचे का दिल बनाते हैं।
मोहब्बत तो हमारे बस में नहीं,
वरना, ओ मुसाफ़िर,
मोहब्बत से प्यार का जाम
पिलाते हैं।

जिस किरदार को मैं अपनी रचनाओं में
संजोती थी,
आज उस किरदार को मैं खुद में उतारना
चाहती हूँ।
भागती सी दौड़ती सी ज़िंदगानी में,
एक खूबसूरत सी पहेली बनना चाहती हूँ।
मेरी स्याही से अंकुरित हुई वो रूह
को एक वास्तविक स्वरूप देना चाहती हूँ।
"तौबा रे कटाई ज़हर" भाव से,
एक बहती सी लहर बनना चाहती हूँ।
इश्क़ का इंतज़ार नहीं,
मोहब्बत के गुलाब लिए,
सूने द्वारों पर
दस्तक देना चाहती हूँ।
आँख बंद कर तितली को याद कर,
उनके आँसुओं को महसूस
करना चाहती हूँ।
कलयुग में सतयुग की गुलाल,
सबके शीश-ओ-शाने बिखेरना
चाहती हूँ।
अपनी कल्पनाओं की वास्तविक रूह
में बेसब्री से जीना चाहती हूँ।
