I don't have Alzheimer's.
It's not easy for
me to forget you.-
Her sharp intellect,
That everyone praised about,
Has lost edge,
Alzheimer is the culprit.-
At times when his flickering gaze
lingered over her face a little longer
than it already did,
Her scrutinized eyes searched for every scrap of clue,
But in vain.
The nights they had once spent
under the stars,
Looking past their veils inside their hearts,
Now remained only as a blissful memory in the soul of one,
While the other laid on her bed,
With clenched hands and puffed eyes.
Alzheimer's had never been less than a storm,
Uprooting stories that glimmered with a faint "Always".

ALZHEIMER
Watching your memory fade
I thought it was because of age
But it wasn't the case
Time was running ahead my pace
Slowly your neurons were getting dried
And I was unable to find the cure
Which could help you right
Medicine are giving up on you
But I promise to hold on to you
Tragedy of life has made
You to walk this road
But you are not alone
Wherever you go
I promise to hold your hand
When you will forget your way
I promise to be your sun
Till these dark cloud fades..

Air pollution increases
the risk of
Alzheimer's & dementia.
Cognitive decline &
behavioral changes are
common effects of
Air pollution.-
If I ever forget you...
Look at those offshore beaches....
The dream houses of the sand...
The dripping of those sand over your hand....
My existence in your fragrant soul.-
Sometimes one wishes one wouldn't think so much.
Untill you see someone who's lost the ability to 'think'.
Nothing can be sadder or more brutal.-
Grapes are versatile.
They decrease your chances of developing many diseases,
which include
heart, diabetes,
obesity & Alzheimers.-
Tonight , let me write my heart out ,
I have only paper and words , afterall.
Deepest unrest , life seems at lowest ,
Darkness engulfs , scary black inkness.
My parents , suffering more each day ,
Heart wrings to see'em withering away.
I know that this is the cycle of life ,
Lord ! Be gentle , help them cross tide .
Alzheimer's has stolen dad's memory ,
Not completely , but very hazy .
Mommy ,the bravest sweetheart ever ,
Tortured by every ailment possible.
The beloved firstborn , I have been ,
Loved , pampered like a queen.
Bleak is my world , I can't even weep,
As I watch my nest torn to smithereens.
-
With every breath,
I hold on to you,
Our memories ,
And our little "infinity",
With every flickering of the burning candle ,
Nestled beside my bed,
I try to move on....
But with every heartbeat I go back ..
Down the memory lane.
When the sun was a little brighter,
When the moon was a little tender,
When the days were a little happier,
When you were a little cheerier,
Until at last ,
Alzheimer's took you away.....
