How can you handle all at once
Baggage of memories tears of seperation hugs and smiles of arrival
Some wanting to pause the time at departure gate
While others wanting the time to run fast at arrivals

Since you left without saying goodbye, I've frequented airports so much that I've fallen in love with them....

Airports are always been an extra
exciting place for me.
Sometimes it's the place where my mind
jumps with happiness while seeing my
beloved one after a very long time.
But some other times it's the most
depressed place on earth.
When he leaves, Or when i leaves..
Indeed, Airports always had its own
stories to tell.

Mine were one of them.

When I have to try acting
Like am happy waving hands to you
And holding tears inside
Oh god there are many oscar award
To be given to airport senders

Leaving on a Jet plane...

What is it about the airports that fascinate us so much;
We romanticize it in films & Novels so much so that it is always the penultimate scene;
The hero or the heroine expresses their love to the person leaving;
Is it a fear of never seeing your loved one; or
Is it the excitement or starting a fresh adventure;
Whatever might be the reason, airports are exciting for sure;
Two souls departing, two long lost souls meeting up after ages;
Promises to love and stand by each other;
Cajoling to a one last hug and kiss;
Soldiers returning to their homeland;
Bravehearts going out to make the country proud;
Students, Professionals and any other co-traveller trying their luck in a foreign land;
Never knowing whether they will succeed or fail, but still taking that leap of faith;
Isn't the Airport a Metaphor for Life;
Where every person is trying to find their purpose;
Either by Migrating or Immigrating and thereby Assimilating a new life;
Ohh!! How I love the Airports;
The biggest congregation of Humanity;
Where we neither know each other's back story but still consent to travel together anyway!!

Where you wanna go?
He asked her, with a brim of happiness pouring through his eyes
Every shade turns into his favourite, everytime when he is with her,
The journey and the destination, both seems perfect,
Perfect as it was, and it is and that it will be.
Colored like the rainbow, her cheeks puffed,
And with a heavy sigh in her eyes,
Airport", she said.
I want to stand in that time switch,
A glitch between those timelines.
Witnessing, all those stories, & kisses, and heartbreaks, and tears of joy & the smile,
Burdened with all the weight of the world.
Yes, I want to peek in those tempting eyes, excited for their first time,
Or to see that past standing beside & waving to the future,
That may be or not, will be intertwined with it.
& she continued,
How she wants to hear those preceding footsteps,
Running from or towards the families.
She told him, to look for the faces and,
Those little hands clutching for their moms and dads and their moms & dads,
Slipping through those glass windows.
And then he understood,
What she wants.
To be in the midst of chaos,
Holding the hands of love and pain,
And scribble a picture out of it,
All of love and the joy,
And every story that tends to miss!

Airports have seen the genuine tears,
'coz it's the separation that fears!
Hospitals have heard
The genuine prayers,
'coz there is the genuine one who cares!
It is only the comfort
That the homes give,
That make us believe
How we actually live!
It's only the roads
That know the distances,
To meet those close acquaintances!
It's actually the emotions that are felt,
And the places where they are dealt!
The divine is omnipresent,
All know yet it is the seeds of emotions,
that on their destined places grow!

Airports are where you are away from the hustle and bustle of the city,

Airports are where you forget everything and go to your destination,

Airports are where you meet people of higher class and status,

Airports are where you enjoy a new feeling,

Airports are where negativities can't catch you and see you,

Airports are where you prove your high status,

Airports are where no lower status people can enter,

Airports are where the gateways to new life, new moments, new experiences and new found happiness are.
