I believe it's best to not have any expectations.
That way, if something happens according to you,
you are pleasantly surprised.

Focus at solving the problem at hand,
Not wallow in illegitimate emotions.
Wouldn't life be better
As a big bag full of surprises
Than being smothered under the burden of
Unwarranted expectations.

Might well disappoint you tomorrow with
A timid nature that you weren't aware of.


This might shake you but
The person who've always been the
Support system that you've counted on,
Might suddenly ask you to return the favour.


This might question your belief but
The most polite person you've known
As of now, might well slap you with the
Harshest words that you'll ever get to listen to.


It takes moments to visit the Hell from the Heaven. Time procures new rules for the game every day. We are the players who can never be sure of what's awaiting them in the next round of the game.
