साल बीत गए आज पाँच, दौड़ना भूल गई उस हादसे से,
चाहा बोहोत मैंने, पर उभर ना पाई उस रात की यादों से!

थी लोगों के लिए वो मात्र दर्दनाक दुर्घटना एक।
खो दिए मैंने, देखे थे जो खुली आँखो से सपने अनेक!!

उड़ना-दौड़ना-खेलना चाहतीं थी मैं, अब लिखना चाहतीं हूँ।
ज़मीन पे पैर ना टिकते थे मेरे, अब क़लम का सहारा चाहतीं हूँ।।

कमज़ोर ना समझना ए दुनिया मुझे, उठ कर चलना सिख गई हूँ मैं!
अपनी कविताओं के आसरे ही सहीं, अपने-आप संभलना सिख गई हूँ मैं!!!
