Looking back for a moment
Her eyes frantically searched for
The shadows that had been stalking her.

heartless,
careless,
speechless,
breathless...

So as the knife pierced my heart
As if a pen bled it's Ink on paper,
A thousand reasons to ask why?
Ten thousand reasons to lose hope.
You stole my life, and my words.
Breathless I felt cold,
I saw it in your eyes you still loved me,
But your words came out colder
It's when I knew were laying...

...because I don't freeze.

ये तन नहीं अवशेष प्रिय, आत्मा का श्रृंगार है ।
वेदना हृदय से त्याग प्रिय, अमर हमारा प्यार है ।

I am breathless & parched
like a jaundiced leaf,
bulging veins of discontent
crying out for release
from this stubborn plaque
of toxic memories.

Is it the sound of my breath
that makes you breathless?
Or, the love in your voice that
makes me speechless?

I could tell you that there
is love in every letter
on this scented paper.
Your sentence me to death
by leaving me breathless.
You leave me hanging on your every word
only to revive me with a pause
followed by a promise of forever.
Oh the eternity between these letters!

And so, I seal my reply not with wax
but of all well wishes, kisses , and a wink
to explain why I ran out of wax.
