जहाँ ज़ख़्म ज़रा सा हो वहाँ हाथ पूरा डालते हैं लोग
अरे तुम तो ज़िंदा हो,
तब खटकते हो इनकी आँखों में
वरना मय्यत के खाने में भी नुक़्स निकालते हैं लोग ।

انسانی بھیس میں جانور کی صفات پالتے ہیں لوگ
جہاں زخم ذرا سا ہو وہا ہاتھ پورا ڈالتے ہیں لوگ
ارے تم تو زندہ ہو،
تب خٹکتے ہو انکی آنکھوں میں
ورنہ میّت کے خانے میں بھی نقص نکالتے ہیں لوگ !
