the eyes of those opportunists,
who pretend to play victim!
Wherever I go, I find corruption
from level zero, to the top.
Wherever I go in my country,
I feel tired of watching,
a bunch of illiterate buffoons,
dictating the world's largest democracy!
Wherever I go, I realise
that the term justice is a hoax.

Sadly, whenever I seek justice,
I look up to the national media, and find--
It is filled with pets,
Who know nothing but denigration
covering diet charts of celebrities,
rather than talking about a state,
ravaged with The most severe cyclone in a decade--
I see them accepting facts,
rather than condemning transfers
of the ones who are responsible for verdicts,
just in order to continue their circus!

দিনের শেষ সূর্য,
রোজই আসে, রোজই মিলিয়ে যায়,
আর বলে দিয়ে যায় একটা নতুন গল্প।
কখনও সারাদিনের ক্লান্তি নিয়ে অবসন্ন মনে বাড়ি ফেরে,
আবার কখনও বিষণ্ণতার মেঘের আড়ালে লুকিয়ে পরে।
সেদিন সূর্যটার একদমই ইচ্ছা হয়নি ফিরে যাওয়ার, কিন্তু তবুও যে তাকে ফিরতে হবে।
মিশে যেতে হবে দিগন্তের অচিন সাগরে।
তার প্রস্থানের পথ ধরেই সেদিন এসেছিল এক অভিশাপ!
অন্ধকারের চিরাগে বন্দি করে নিয়েছিল প্রকৃতি টাকে,
আছড়ে ফেলে দিয়েছিল অনেক স্বপ্ন,
এক ঝটকায় ছিনিয়ে নিয়েছিল সব সুখ সব হাসি।
প্রলয়ের কালো অন্ধকারে বন্দি হয়েছিল গোটা শহর।
পরদিন সকালে যখন সূর্য এলো, তখন হাজারটা স্বপ্ন মাটিতে লুটিয়ে পরে,
জলের নিচে হারিয়ে গিয়েছে কত পরিশ্রম, ধুলোতে মিশেছে সুখের ইমারত,
রাস্তারা হারিয়েছে তাদের ঠিকানা।
তবুও সূর্য এসে দাড়িয়েছে পাশে, সাথে নিয়ে আশার তীক্ষ্ম আলো।
আবার উঠবে জীবনের সূর্য, শহর ফিরে পাবে তার হাসি,
স্বপ্নেরা মাথা তুলে দাঁড়াবে, খুঁজে পাবে তার ঠিকানা।
অন্ধকারে তলিয়ে গিয়েও আবার ফিরে আসবে জীবনের আলো,
নতুন এক সূর্যের হাত ধরে।

After 30 hours of being secluded from the world,
finally some of us are healed...

We are back to life with basics...
Learnt the most important lesson
We feel so helpless without Internet, Electricity, water supply...

And there are people who lost home last night...
