As far as I know,
When a man is in the adversity of his deeds,
When he is conquered by the worst fortune ever,
When he is dealing with a heartbreak,
The lone substance which shelters his grief is
that lifeless piece of paper on which
he yearns to write his tale of woe!!

भूख मिट ही नही सकती है....
चाहे वो तन की हो
चाहे वो मन की हो
चाहे वो समाज की हो
चाहे वो आवाज की हो
चाहे वो नोट की हो
चाहे वो सोच की हो
चाहे वो प्यार की हो
चाहे वो मनुहार की हो
चाहे वो जीत की हो
चाहे वो प्रीत की हो

भूख तब मिट सकती है
जब आंखें बंद होने लगें
और धड़कन सांस खोने लगे
जब विपत्ति बढ़नें लगे
और इंसानियत दम तोड़ने लगे

When those scars of mine
Painted your heart with the
Colour of prejudice,
Adversities tried to
Drown me in the Neptune of
Ineffable Spasms,
But then,
My inner demon
came to my rescue,
It forged my damaged soul
And metamorphosed my tears-
Into ravishing black ink
That filled the Pen of my life,
To dress those Scars
In poetry,
And to bejewel its verses
With the Sprinkle
Of my Pain!!

I cry because
Of adversity--
Then I see an old man,
Carrying heavy pails
Of water--
The whole day;
Just so, he can
Provide nourishment,
For his starving
Grandchildren;
Then, I realize
That I'm whining
For nil.

Adversity is the proof that you are alive.
Those with no problems are found in cemeteries.
