I am in my father’s rickety Maruti 800. It has been six years since my graduation from the institute; most of my batchmates are millionaires by now with real Mercedes – much like your fiancé from Kharagpur, but I, I still am living off my father’s savings. This red Maruti is precious, much more than what a Mercedes would be. Its engine coughs & the headlights flicker, but in its frailty, it needs my care as much as I, its company. It’s my briefcase of memories.
