मै तो महज़ एक कागज का टुकड़ा था,
जो अब राख हो चुका है।
और तुम लगा लेना काजल मेरी यादों में.....
तुम्हारी सुनी आँखों का सबब पूछने वाला ,
अब ख़ाक हो चुका है।

दुश्मन कोई क्या रहेगा मेरा ,
हमने खुद को ही खुद का दुश्मन बना रखा है।
अपने तो बहुत मिले हमें,
पर अपनों में भी हमने गैर तलाश रखा है।
कोई बर्बाद करे तो क्या करे हमें,
हमने खुद का नाम खुद ही मिटा रखा है।

When i truly hated who I was and what I had become.
I was broken , damaged and fighting .
But you fought your way and saved me.
You loved me and by doing so ,

Meet someone prettier than me .

In the end ,I have learnt a thing !
Time doesn't heal anything .
It just teaches us how to live with the pain
And now even without you ,
I'm strong , happy and hopeful.

हम गैरों कि बस्ती में अपनों की तलाश में हैं,
बुझा कर सारा दिया रौशनी की आस में हैं
अपने हिस्से के किस्सों को खुद ही सुना है हमने !!
खुद बना कर दुरियां दरमियां नज़दीकियों की तलाश में हैं ।

गिना कर गलतियाँ दूसरों की, अपनी गलतियाँ आखिर कब तक छुपाओगी।
उठा कर उंगलियाँ दूसरों पर,खुद पर उठी उंगलियाँ आखिर कब तक हटाओगी।
बदनाम है,यहाँ हर शक्स हर दूसरे शक्स के सामने,
अपनी इज्जत आखिर कब तक बचाओगी।
कोरे काग़ज़ सी हो गयी है पूरी जिन्दगी,
इसे सवारने की कोशिश आखिर कब तक कर पाओगी।
गर महफ़िलों से फुरसत मिल जाये तम्हें "प्रिया" तो खुद के साथ थोरा वक्त बिताना,
अंदर के शोर को आखिर कब तक दफ़न रख पाओगी।
