I still see you at the corner of road to my hostel waiting for me on bike,
I still text you every now and then as you are my only friend on hike,

And whenever I do , I see two of us in theme and I look into your eye,
they wish to say something but I can't get it no matter however hard I try.

We had that picture in theme at the door side of hospital under the darkest sky,
you asked me out that late in night and I said yes and never wondered why,

I walked holding the sleeve of the t shirt down your arm,
Though it was dark as hell but I knew nothing could harm.

वो बचपन की अमीरी
न जाने कहां खो गयी,
जब बारिश के पानी मे
हमारे भी जहाज चला करते थे,

सफ़र में धूप तो होगी, जो चल सको
तो चलो,
सभी हैं भीड़ में, तुम भी निकल सको
तो चलो....
यहाँ किसी को कोई रास्ता नहीं देता,
मुझे गिरा के अगर तुम सँभल सको
तो चलो...

मोमबत्ती सा याराना अपना,
जला अगर मैं पिघल तुम भी जाओगे

वे नहीं जानते कि वे कौन हैं, लेकिन
वे आपको बताएंगे कि आप कौन हैं?

न जाने कहाँ गए वो दिन
जहाँ किसी को ‘Katti’ बोलते ही
उसे अपनी गलती का
एहसास हो जाता था....

खामोश रहने का अपना ही मजा है,
नींव के पत्थर कभी बोल नहीं करते.

बजह पूछने का
मौका ही ना मिला,
वो लहेजा बदलते गये और
हम अजनबी बनते गये,

शाखें अगर रहीं,तो पत्ते भी आएंगे
ये दिन अगर बुरे हैं,तो अच्छें भी आएंगे...
