Home should have been the safest place ever
But there is no safe haven in OUR Africa
I get killed for being a Yoruba from Nigeria
Even when I'm black like a South African who's Xhosa

For years we looked out for each other
Just Africans, no Zulu, Pedi, Venda or Tswana
To rescue you from apartheid, we fought together
I wonder if killing fellow blacks is the right payback

We lose our voice yelling against racism
Yet other blacks are killed by a black Swati
We despise to be labeled as cruel fanatics
But we don't miss out on a chance to be xenophobic

We fightback when wars hit us from outside
What do we do to this that come from inside
On our fellow black should we start to strike
With knives and guns until they all die

Surely we won't sit back and just pray
The evil done has no place to stay
Until we decide the way we would repay
Eternal peace for the departed souls we pray

I don't like to be around the thought of xenophobia,
They are dangerous at times,
I am better of alone than with strangers,
Life is less complex then.

Every cloud has a silver lining just like every story has a good or a bad ending. It is like moral of the story teaches you a very intriguing truth of life. People often get to see the courage of the author in their write ups but what they can't see is their struggle to write it.
A soldier stays on border to protect our nation, leaving his family behind. Family is always thinking will they ever get to see there son or daughter who has been fighting on border to selflessly keep us safe.
If he dies in war he gets honoured by everyone but if he gets rogue he can destroy everything he ever worked for
His courtmarshal is done and everyone in his family pays for his mistakes, they are humiliated tortured by the society.

Spiritually, all sentient beings are one and equal, and distinctions like species, race, creed, caste, colour, gender, nationality etc are man-made. Accordingly, all sentient beings deserve the same love and reverence. If your philosophy or religion propagates otherwise, then you need to change it or you are an enemy of humanity.

Though economic or material equality is impossible, unscientific, and unwanted. Is it possible to have the same income for a rickshaw puller and a physicist? Or a genius and hardworking physicist and an average and lazy physicist? Of course, not. And by the way, economic inequality promotes competition, and competition leads to progress.

अगर किसी चीज़ के गोरे होने से उसकी सुंदरता बढ़ जाती,
तो चांद की सफेद शैली में काले कलंक क्यों?

अगर किसी का काला होने से दूसरे का अस्तित्व मिट जाता,
तो बिन काले रंग के ही सफेद रंग को पहचान मिल जाता।

राधा और कृष्ण के लय की तरह प्रेम तो हमेशा से ही रंगीन था,
इसे तुमने ही काले और गोरे में बांटा था।

अगर काला रंग सफेद रंग को बुरी नज़र से बचाता है,
तो तू काले रंग से क्यों नजरें छुपाता है।
