As I wake up from my afternoon nap and go to fetch myself a glass of water ,the piercing voice of the news reporter fell on my ears...'he acted in raabta, kedarnath, chichore, Kai Po che, dhoni biopic' ... ofcourse he was as talking of Sushant Singh Rajput.
'But why?' Past experiences have told me that such news are only highlighted when either the person concerned has passed away or has been awarded some big award...'corona times are not the best time for awards!!' I wonder to myself ... So could it be the former reason then.
Holding the glass of water in my hand, still too confused to take a sip I walk up to the television to unearth the truth... The nightmare was indeed true...the actor had committed suicide...!!
I was in a deep state of shock..could I be still asleep.. dreaming!!
Gulping down the entire glass of water at once ,I try to digest the reality.. my thoughts shift from character to character, one movie to another...they get jumbled in my head...!! What could have gone wrong...with a soaring career, fitness, fame,love, money...what else??
I am still trying to wrap my head around it..the only thing I could infer from this is... #MentalHealthIsImportant

The way you left this world,
Feels so very personal to each one of us. It is hard to believe that a young, talented, vibrant person like you could succumb to depression and end up his life like this. This puts more responsibility on us as family, friends, colleagues to check on with our near and dear ones. Mental health is even more important than physical well being for it can be hidden under the veil of a smiling face.

Sushant you have left us teary eyed with loads to ponder upon and introspect within and around us..
