to write a sonnet,
my love for you
takes over the glorious octave,
while your hatred for me
forms a nostalgic sestet.

Free verse is a wild horse,
Battle cries of Old Norse.
All Romans hear is bar-bar-bar,
Rabid beast like they are-are-are.
My poor attempt to iterate.
Six line poem, no limerick.

This is wrong and that is right,
She is naive and he is bright.
Never believe in what they say,
Try for yourself and let it play.
Good is fine but bad is pure,
It'll enlighten you for sure.

When people ignore
Life is getting bore
Sit in the lap of nature
Its love makes you mature
Nature awakes conscience
It crimps us & binds.

"I don't want to be a mother
I want to be a father actually.
Yes, I know I'm a female, and so,
I'm supposed to be a mother only.
But no, I wish to be come a father
To tell the world, I love them equally.

Since childhood, I've wanted to mother
Since childhood, I've nurtured the wish.
To the world I was my Papa's daughter
My heart watered feelings motherish.
Being eldest sister to the family's kids
Not wanting to be mother was foolish.

But time made me realize the strength
The heart of a father needs to hold on.
Life brought me to the lanes dirtiest
Where how to carry, same life told on.
Father's feet were stready on shaky routes
I definitely wanna put a father's mould on.

Wiping mother's tears, despite being all emotional
I want to be mother's strength, a father devotional."

she never knew were broken

She paints him in colors
he never knew were bare

They free each other in ways
they never knew were caged

Along the shores
we walked,
Hand in hand
Under the ether
we laid,
And soaked in sand.

वो रूठे जो ग़र, सीने में दरार पड़ जाती है,
दूरी इस क़दर, कि कहर सी ढ़ाती है...

एहसासों का सैलाब जब भी उमड़ता है,
बादलों से धरती का रिश्ता भी संवरता है!

वो गरजता है, प्यासी धरती तड़प जाती है,
बरस जाए तो, झूमकर वो भी भीग जाती है...
