Sifting through my gallery yesterday, I found our screenshots that I forgot I had. You were saying these perfect things and I was being the hard-to-get, cheeky and skeptical me. I could see myself falling for you, quite literally, my heart doing this happy dance with a smile plastered on my face like a fool as I replied to your declarations of love with a feigned disbelief.

And as you were giving reasons why you were different, I jokingly wrote that I'm taking a screenshot and would show you someday when you gallantly disappoint me. You replied how it wasn't necessary and you'll always be there. And even though I scoffed and made fun of you but I could see I believed you. And maybe you knew that too. Well, I guess the joke's on me.

I had an itch to send you those screenshots saying, "ha! See, I was right. You aren't different. I win." But I couldn't. So, I did what I didn't with your number. I kept them. Now, they remind me that I was right. I was right even though I didn't want to be. It's good to see that I was once adorably naive, but I was right.
