मेरा मेहबूब लगता चाँद, तारों की अटारी में,
रहे बेचैन बस ये दिल उसी की इन्तिज़ारी में।

बड़े जचते हो कुर्ते में नज़र तुमको न लग जाए,
सुनो अच्छे नहीं लगते, पुराने तुम सफारी में।

मेरे अहबाब करते फ़क्र डॉक्टर हूँ मैं पेशे से,
मगर बस याद करते हैं हमेशा दुख बिमारी में।

ज़रा हल्का सा हो मेकप, मगर हो डार्क सी साड़ी,
उन्हें अच्छी बहुत लगती मैं गोटे और किनारी में।

नज़र आती है मंज़िल पास "मीना"हमकदम जो है,
मज़ा जो साथ का तेरे कहाँ हासिल फ़रारी में।

SAFARI

A travel freak is never alone,
Have got million reasons to be
Delightful and nature's throne.
All along the natural zones.

Dreams begins to hope.
If I'm Sad, Travel plans make me cope.
I'm always furious, for the seasons,
Creates, the outings for many reasons.

Forming a large group of friends,
For a venturing SAFARI Ahead.
From the heatstrokes by sun,
And a calming twilight moon aside.

Delightfully astonished with drippy rains.
Followed a long lived journey...
With better days and NIGHTS,
That all though together seems,
To be the best days of my LIFE.

I wish to ride the canyon
Stand at the highest tip
& watch the sun go to bed
& the moon succeed a temporal space
As my crave straps on
& remains trapped inside of me
As I burn in an undying passion
To Explore the bat infested caves
& read the writings of our forefathers
As they tell their stories on the walls
For their unborn to tell their world
To the world that imagined their time
& long indefinitely for a peep
just to find place in a historic past...

Thak se gaye hain,

Subha se sham
Sukoon to dhunda karte hain,
Mayoos ho jate use dhundte hue,
Magar milta nahi vo rat ko bhi,

I'll settle at this oasis
Where leaves are green but the cactus
& drink from her freshness
As I pitch my tent
Refill my water keg
& check my compass for a lead
To bury my thoughts to nothing
& dream upon my void fears,
The magic of this gigantic space
Of arid capacity betrothed to the scourging sun
Which on a safari exploit plane
Will it's magnific reign remain
through time and through events...

I am the wizard warrior
Who climbs the slopes
& weather's the freezing night
& when the sand storms Come
My gut is to bear it as fun
& welcome it's touch as home
Just as my mat will caress the grounds
& make my nights lay
A pleasant rest from a lullaby
Sang by the bright stars of the heavens
Who lit the cold cover of the night
& restores dignity to the skies
As my bush fire burns into the morning
Leaving behind white ashes & flakes
as it bury the flames & rests the woods
as my eyes hatches gracefully
From a crow in the far...

It was on a monday
I looked into the sun
& the clouds weren't there
& the sky was vacant
& the sky was empty
Just a lonely wicked sun
Left with his shine & rays
But the hawk was scouting
& the lizards mate under the heated rocks

His place & clan
The den was left at war
Where the rattle snake sort prey
As he prayed on his camouflage
To lit the hope for a meal
As the twisting wind & the sands
Merry in circles of a distorted air
For the roaming predators to make a lunch
As the race for a place
In a town they own solely
Remains a carnivorous war...

My archaic method of
tuning to dismissed
ideas on a very mission
to grasp the list of
"Never Do's", has
always assisted me
in severing ties with
wrong heads in my
virtuous safari.

living in current world is more risky these days.
Bcoz every now and then one will see toxic and venomous reptiles
It's better to leave in Amazon forest or do an African Safari
Atleast you know sometime u will be the "feast of forest"
