You're certainly not my only mistake.
You're like that beautiful imperfection
caused by a strained harmony one up
the octave.
Your booming laughter, still echoing in
my ear has tarnished my sunsets and
each one of my stargazing escapades.
I've been meaning to explore all those
roads I never knew existed until you
left.
I just hope, i don't embark on one of
those that lead to you.
Heaven knows, that would be a one
way.
