OCTOBER GHAZAL

I see a shade of yellow October,
A little raw but mellow October.

A group of migrating Dragonflies,
Rush to the courtyards in slow October.

The sun is back to it's spot,
To know it's height in low October.

I am yet to know where I belong,
In this surprising yet to go October.

Every day I'd go with it's flow,
I hope Fiza gets to know October.

Sard Os ki bunde yunhi,Dabe
paanv jab Patto par aa giri.
Harsingar se jhadi hui kasturi,
Zara udd aangan se ja lagi.
Hawa ki khurafatiyon ka karam
hai ye,Gendo ke phool se ek
Chidiya, Raaz Budbudane lagi.
Taaron ki chadar, oadh pasaar
bechain,raat karvat badal chali.
Tab kanhi us gali se guzar,bhor
Bhromor man shiuli se ja mili.

I m That wounded wolf who
craves for December moon light,
The Broken deficit of fallen
Autumn September end night.
Can blame myself for all those
irreparable April pain,
The tears I was sheded they fall
like rainy July rain.
But somehow trying to overcome
since last June summer,
Oh poor love you survivor,
now at door of pre-winter October.

Winter slithers in and waits patiently at the door in October.
The angry monsoon retreats after all the outpour in October.

Stunning statues of Ma Durga are being readied in Kumartuli.
Their first clay comes from Sonagachi's whores in October.

We just vacated YQ Headquarters in Bengaluru to travel north.
