वो रात कुछ अलग सी थी,
सब कुछ एकदम जैसे थम सा गया हो।
जिंदा तो था मैं मगर बेजान सा,
सारा खून मानो जैसे जम सा गया हो।
सुबह को वो अंजान ही थी,
शाम को मिली वो ऐसे जैसे कोई रम सा गया हो।
अगली सुबह भी वो रात सी थी,
सच था सब मगर लगा कि कोई भ्रम सा गया हो।
