At midnight, I often
Get preyed upon
By the things long forgotten
Till it's unforgiving dawn.

Your forever promise
Of togetherness through thick and thin:
How I my naive Self so much miss,
I was just too much of an urchin.

The harrowing hollow Moon,
And the stars full faulty,
My lovelorn heart do lampoon
Why do you still get off me?

At midnight, I look for the midday Sun,
It's madness with remedy none!
