Smell of spilled coffee on the table cloth
Psychedelic spirituality all over the place
Faraway noises of the gushing river
People speaking in unknown languages
Warm smile of the waiter compelling me to eat more

“No Wifi, Please Talk to Each Other.”
Says the board in a familiar language.

Yet strange gibberish silence speaks more than familiar voices.

Kasol - Definition by a minority

Kasol is not just for stoners. It is a place for thinkers. A place for the worship of the divinity. Also, a place where there is immense freedom in your choice of being.

It is a place where you feel embraced in the chest of the mountains. It is like the mother who nurtures you. It is like the father who just lets you be.

Amongst all that is thought of as bad, why would you even try to be anything other than who you truly are!

It is home like nothing else is.

And the river says,
"Whatever is going on in your life,
always keep moving forward.."

is from mountains.

बंध गया हूँ कई दिनों से
घर से हॉस्पिटल के पक्की सड़क से
लेह की कच्ची सड़कों पर भी जाऊँगा
वादा है उससे हर हिचकी पर आऊंगा
बंदिशें हैं अभी, पर खुलते ही गाऊंगा.
जरा लंबी है जंग जीतकर ही आऊंगा..
लीची से भरे पेड़, गांव में ककड़ी चुराऊंगा
अरे तुम पकने दो आम, खाने मैं आऊंगा
रमेश के टपरी मे चाय-सुट्टा उड़ाऊंगा.
लालमन की लस्सी, पराठे मुरथल के खाऊंगा.
रामलला के दर्शन को अयोध्या तो जाऊँगा
दीदार-ए - ताज को आगरा भी आऊंगा...
सेब के बगीचों मे केहवा की चुस्की,
डल झील के शिकारों में कविता सुनाऊँगा
वो कसोल के जंगल में महफ़िल जमाऊंगा.
मनाली ट्रांस पे मुंडी हिलाऊंगा.
हवा महल ये जयपुर या बीच हो गोआ
गंगा में ऋषिकेश राफ्टिंग लगाऊंगा
भक्त मैं महाकाल का, बाबा को मनाऊंगा.
दर्शन को तेरे केदार मैं आऊंगा
मंसूरी हमारी पहाड़ों की रानी
यादें तो लेंसडॉन में भी है पुरानी
कोई और भी आए साथ तो आए ,
वरना अकेला ही आऊंगा
वादा है मेरा मैं फिर आऊंगा..
