पूरा घर जब सोता है , मैं उठ सब के लिए चाय नाश्ता बनाती हूँ
सब की सेवा कर बस खाना आज अच्छा बना सुन ख़ुश हो जाती हूँ!
पूरी ज़िंदगी बस अपने परिवार की देख रेख और उनकी खुशियों में बताती हूँ
और बाद में सब मे ताने सुन..." तुम ने क्या किया अपनी ज़िंदगी में" ये सुन अकेले अश्क़ बहाती हूँ!!

महकाती हैं वो "भाभी" कहलाती है

फिर सुबह की गठरी में, हौले से तहकर वो सपना, गृहणी बन वह घर चुनती है !!

The woman- drenched in sweat, her eyes watery from the smoke of the burning stove, her hands as rough as asphalt due to washing of heaps of dirty dishes and laundry - was bent over the kitchen slab, rolling out perfectly circular chapattis for their guests.

Her husband, upon being asked by the guests about her, said:
'She ...a working woman? Haha! It is not her cup of tea. She does nothing. She is just a housewife.'
